At Open Gallery CIC, we believe that art can cure people's souls and transform lives. Our mission is to create a friendly and inclusive space open to everyone, where individuals from all walks of life can come together to explore their creativity and well-being.

We are committed to providing access to diverse artistic experiences that inform and inspire. Our programs focus on making art enjoyable and engaging participants in collaborative projects that foster community spirit and connection. By joining forces with local artists and organizations, we aim to enhance the capabilities of our community members, empowering them to express themselves freely.

We recognize the importance of freeing people from worrying about barriers to participation. Through our initiatives, we strive to create a supportive environment that nurtures mental health, inclusion, and personal growth. Together, we can build a vibrant community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive through the transformative power of art.

Events

We are inviting you to join "Wear Pink and Do Art" at the Open Gallery CIC on Friday, 24 October, from 11am to 3pm, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By wearing different shades of pink and participating in creative art activities, we come together to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and support. Every pound raised helps fund life-saving breakthroughs, provides reliable information for those in need, and drives vital campaigning for the best possible treatment and care.

This event is part of the larger Wear It Pink campaign, a UK-wide movement on 24 October dedicated to ensuring that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives well and supported. Your participation not only raises awareness but helps build a future where breast cancer no longer claims lives. Wear pink, get creative, and make a difference with us this October—it’s about support, hope, and community impact.
